More often than not, people are scared to visit dentist offices like ours. This fear can stem from many reasons. Maybe you have dentophobia, or you may be scared because of visits you have had to other offices. If it is the latter, we would like to say that we pride ourselves with the work that we do. We always make sure each of our clients is as comfortable as we can make them while providing the necessary care and education they need while visiting. In most cases, we can help our patient's fear by listening to their concerns and worries. As trained medical professionals, we learn to listen to our patients and their concerns about procedures before anything else. We want our patients to understand exactly what is happening and why, but for us to be able to do this, we must hear what they have to say first. Not everyone's concerns will be the same, so we try to take this into consideration when dealing with each patient. We like to speak with individuals on an individual basis so that you know we are not only here to take your money, but that we genuinely care for your dental health. Knowledge Is PowerWe have found that patients are more likely to be happy when we provide them the right information. By providing the right information to an individual, the individual knows what to expect and how to prepare for anything that might happen. The last thing we want is for patients to feel that they do not have enough information or go into a procedure not really knowing what is going on. If you would like to call our office before a visit, we always welcome that. We will be happy to help with any questions you may have or any other concerns you may have with visiting us. We understand that not all fear comes from just dentophobia, and we can also help to figure out if we accept your insurance or pick a billing plan that will work for you. |
